Dogs and Cats Behavior Modification – Natural Gos – Centro de adiestramiento canino

Behavior modification

Treating behavioral problems in dogs and cats is possible once a viable diagnosis is reached.

Behavior modification sessions focus in working on your pet’s behavioral problems inan individual and completely personalized manner, within a controlled environment appropriate for the correct course of the treatment.

The first step isto find out whether the animal has a behavioral issue or a problem in its upbringing

What does it consist of?

Behavioral problem

Many behavioral problems have an organic or neurologic cause and cannot be solved solely through training. Their treatment and diagnosis must be carried outby a clinical veterinarian ethologist since they are the only professionals who have all the knowledge necessary todifferentiate between organic problems (related to health or pathology) which may cause oraggravate behavioral problems, and behavioral problems as such. A trainer can carry out the behavior modification, but should never be the one to diagnose the problem.

What does it consist of?

Training problems

n many cases, these problems are the result of owners not knowing how to properly train their dogs, which may lead them to resort to tools that, instead of solving the problem, it only aggravates it. Eventually, it may turn a lack of dog training into a behavioral problem, such as aggression.
